Wells seemed to be an inspiration of Aldous Huxley. Aldous Huxley also writes science fiction. There are similarites between Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, and H.G. Wells' The Time Machine. Both books are about futeristic things such as time travel in The Time Machine and traveling in helicopters in Brave New World.

He wrote sixty-three different plays some of their names are: Widower’s House, You Never can Tell, Arms and the Man,Candida, Fanny’s first Play, Pygmalion.// In his plays he wrote a lot about socialism the award winning play My Fair Lady is based off of Fanny’s first play and Pygmalion. He also put a lot of incisive humor in his plays which he is often remembered for. He included a lot of moral, political, and economic issues which made them a lot of realistic drama.
George Bernard Shaw had a hard childhood and often wrote about a child's isolation from its parents, which relates to how the children in Brave New World don't have any parents. Shaw also spoke at many socialist rallies and supported socialism.
